I had that model and color

Loved it. The first generation was split in two models. The f87 m2 with the N55 followed by the f87 m2 competition (pictured) with the s55. The m2c had more "m" spec engine (from m3) and ///m bits. It was fun. Nice manual, huge brakes. Probably best fun and power in that price range. The new square model is g87 , I have never driven.

Based on everything I’ve heard and read, this machine with a 6 speed is near perfect for a “reasonable” price. This particular shade of blue is VERY easy on the eyes as well. Would love to test drive soon! ...

And it suffered from the usual rock hard chassis setup that plagues most Beemer. Supposedly it improved with later gens. The current boxy version is possibly the best but I couldn't live with the LCD screen dash, it's a complete abomination and a deal kil...

That above is the F87 based first generation as far as I knew...

This has been my daily drive for the last three years and I would not swap it for any four seater in the market. ...

I believe the M3 was a 4 door car

while the M4 was a 2 door car. I love the shape and the size of the M2 Competition since it uses the same engine as the M4 in a more compact size. To be honest I have never driven a M3 or M4 but I can safely say that when I do drive my car, it is an exten...

I hadn’t realized the M3 was solely a 4door sedan. But much more impressive is that the M2 houses the same engine as M4.🤩

Super car and love the color. There are a lot of "built" M2s that are eye catching and of course have great performance.

Some call it the real successor to the E46 M3 given its smaller size than the E9X generation. Of course, the F82 has a turbo so the successor appellation only goes so far.
